Honor Guard request and services that are offered for Veterans.
Military service includes readings, flag folding, rifle salute and Taps.
For Honorably discharged U.S. Marines including Naval personnel that served with the Marines (Corpsman, Religious personnel), there is a ceremony specific available known as the Eagle Globe and Anchor Ceremony. The Honor Guard Commander has additional details.
Funeral Directors will contact the Honor Guard Commander from American Legion Post 103. Information that will be needed includes: a copy of DD-214, Funeral Home, Veteran’s name, Cemetery or location of services, date/time of service, military branch and ERA served (Korean, Vietnam, Gulf War, etc.), casket or cremation of Veteran, and who the Flag is to be presented to.
